Sensing the change?

I have been out of blogging for a bit. I have been busy with the garden and with getting our wood for the winter season(s) upcoming. We are noticing that others are seeming to wake up, albeit slowly. The local business in town that sells wood(not like us who go to the mountains and cut our own) has already filled his lot to the brim. I have never seen so much wood there in all the years I have lived in NM, and wonder if he too sees the way the wind is blowing.

With the Cap and Trade utilities are going to be very high in the upcoming winters and many will have to turn back to the old ways. I must confess my husband and I were startled to see the prepping that this business is doing. Nothing is pointing to NM having a bad winter, so I believe I am correct on what is going on.

Have you noticed that more and more people around sense something?

This is a load that we got last week. There are restrictions on using a chain saw past 10 am in the mountains due to fire danger so we have been cutting 8-10 foot trees and bringing them home to cut. The work crew is vegging on the top of the truck.

I have noticed a heightened sense of awareness. I was at a local restaurant the other day and overheard a server talking to a patron about government and the bad things they were doing. Great to hear others concerned.

First off - smart on all of you for going and getting your own firewood! and smart of you to take back trees and then cutting them at home!

secondly - i think that you are right! there seem to be many more people sensing the change and many seem to be in the early stages of prepping. Thank the Lord that the Network and people like you are there for all of the newbies that will be coming!

lastly - your kids are the freakin cutest things ever! and lucky to have such an awesome Mom and Dad!

Good prepping and we are going to get our wood soon too - maybe try to do it right this winter and not get a load every couple of weeks this year!

Happy Crew! :)
